Wine Producing Countries

Wine is an alcoholic drink made from grape juice. There are lots of countries that produce wines but which are the ones that produces the finest wines. I am sitting here drying my dinnerware and shot glasses while my wife is doing the dishes looking to do some research on the countries where they produce finest wines. There are several wine lovers around and I am one of them I like having a glass of red couple of times a week. My doctor also tends to think it is health if you only drink one glass per day not more. South Africa

South Africa are now famour for its wine but they should really thank the Dutch who planted the grapes in 1650’s.

North America

There are lots of places in North America where wine is produced such as New York, California, Oregon and Washington.

South America

In South America only two countries are famous in producing finest wine and they are Chile and Argentina.

Australia

The wine industries in Australia continue to make big stride forward and have become famous in last 30 years.

France

France has held a strong reputation for many years in terms of wine making. There are top 5 regions in France where they made great wines and they are Alsace, Bordeaux, Loire, Burgundy and Rhone.

Germany

Germany is famous for producing white wines than red wines because of their cool climate.

Italy

Italy holds a record in producing more wine than any other country in the World. Piedmont, Tre Venezi and Tuscany are the top places where best wines are made.

Spain

Spain might have more acres under vine but they have been outshone by France and Italy in wine making for many years. The top regions of Spain where wine is made are Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Rias Baixas and Penedes.

New Zealand

New Zealand is also famous for white wines especially Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
