Work At Home Does Away With Tons Of Time On Travelling But You Must Make Sure To Use Some Of That Time For Exercise
Recently I committed to start a new fitness regime. I work from home and I do a lot of computer input, writing and other Online jobs. This is rather sedentary and if I do not watch out I can tend to gain weight. I’d much rather exercise than reduce my eating so now is a great time to organise some exercise discipline into my work from home diary.
Obviously a significant benefit of working from home is having control of your own time. As well as that not having to travel every day does free up lots of extra time and I have decided to use most of that time to get some training done.
Most people like to go to the gym for this purpose. That is a good idea although it introduces an amount of driving into the daily Work from home routine. I’ve tried joining the gym but I find that getting in one hours exercise in reality consumes two hours of my diary, by the time I have driven, changed, then post exercise showered. Also my gym has a very pleasant bar and restaurant, much too tempting!
So I prefer to complete my exercise from my home base. I possess a mountain bike and I am fairly happy jogging, so my new routine will include a mixture of both. In addition I am fortunate to live close by some very nice woodland tracks which make brilliant jogging and cycling routes. I do find that improving my fitness assists me in doing my job and of course my work from home status helps me to get the exercise done in the first place. I plan to do around one and a quarter hours exercise each and every day and the great thing is that because I am not driving each day I will still be able to give a full eight hours to my work from home tasks.
